Now, torn between her increasingly complicated feelings for Christian and her love for her boyfriend, Tucker, Clara struggles to make sense of what she was supposed to do the day of the fire. And, as she is drawn further into the world of part angels and the growing conflict between White Wings and Black Wings, Clara learns of the terrifying new reality that she must face: Someone close to her will die in a matter of months. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that the fire was just the beginning.”
My Rating: ê ê ê ê ê +++!!!!!!! <3
My Review: This is definitely my favorite series still (Along with Maximum Ride). It was exciting, romantic, fast paced, had an awesome setting, had angels, flying…wow. It’s 1st person, present tense and the writing style is beautiful, poetic and often funny. I love it. Now this is the best sequel ever. The only disappointments where cause by me having that Fan Girl Syndrome that another reviewer mentioned. I absolutely love Tucker. He’s amazing…a modern cowboy, funny, nice…at some parts I wished I was Clara because I liked Tucker. This series focuses on all of the characters, and I’ve come to like Clara Mom, Clara’s friend Angela, and even Christian. This book had surprises that I would never expect, and one I did because I knew the author would never let us down like that! (Oops…ignore that). I’m so glad I got to read this right when it came out. I actually bought it a few days before the official release date…and I kept looking up Jackson Hole on Google Earth so I could fully immerse myself in the setting. Wyoming and angels. Awesome.
I don’t know what to say…maybe that every paranormal romance fan out there should read this series, especially girls who like angels and cowboys and such? You will laugh and cry and swoon. I swear. I’m itching to read more and there’s still 12 months until the next book unless it’s released before that or I get an ARC. But I want the final copy because these covers are amazing!
Cover Art Review: Gorgeous as the 1st book’s!!! I love the silver swirls, feather and title especially. This time they had the Teton in the background.
